Planning your trip

Most campsites here are run by Parks Victoria, including those in Echuca and Tocumwal regional parks. A few are run by a local council or a reserve committee, so check the manager on each campsite. Other Goulburn River camping areas, such as Seymour and Tallarook, are listed under the Goulburn region.

River camping areas can close during floods, and dirt tracks to them can become impassable after rain. Use the Parks Victoria website to check conditions and any booking before you go. The New South Wales side of the river is listed under The Murray, and South Australia's stretch under the Riverland.
