Planning your trip
The campsites listed here are run by the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory. Kakadu National Park campgrounds are managed by Parks Australia and may not appear in this list. Florence Falls and Central Valley each have more than one campground, so match the exact name when you book.
The wet season, roughly November to April, closes many roads and campgrounds, and swimming areas can close at short notice. Saltwater crocodiles live in rivers, billabongs and the coast across the Top End, so follow all safety signs. Use the NT Parks website to check bookings, access and current alerts. Katherine and Edith Falls campgrounds are listed under Katherine Daly.
