Planning your trip
The campsites listed here are run by the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory, with campgrounds such as Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, Leliyn (Edith Falls) and Umbrawarra Gorge. Kakadu National Park is managed by Parks Australia, and its campgrounds may not appear here.
The Top End's wet season, roughly November to April, closes many roads, campgrounds and swimming areas. Saltwater crocodiles live in rivers, billabongs and coastal waters, so follow all safety signs. Check bookings, access and current alerts on the NT Parks website before you travel.
