Planning your trip
These campgrounds are run by Western Australia's Parks and Wildlife Service, and many can be booked through Explore Parks WA. Gregories and South Gregories are separate campgrounds, as are Herald Bight and False Entrance, so match the full name when you book.
Some Shark Bay campgrounds, such as Bottle Bay and Herald Bight, are reached only by four-wheel drive on soft sand. Summers are very hot and campsites can be exposed. Carry water and check access, park fees and alerts on Explore Parks WA before you travel.
