Planning your trip
Every campsite listed here is run by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, but each campground has its own access, booking and alert arrangements. A drive-in campground is a very different trip from a walk-in night at Kedumba or Ruined Castle Ridge, so open the campground page before you commit to a plan.
The NSW National Parks site is the place to confirm whether a booking is required, how you get in and whether a fire ban, flood or track closure is in force. Billy Camp shows where each campground is and what the official source records about it. It does not list fees or on-site facilities unless the source does, so use the park page for those details before you leave.
