The starting point of the Gunbower Island Canoe Trail is located about 6 kms south of the Koondrook Township. From Koondrook head south along the Kerang-Koondrook Road, turn left onto Koondrook Track and head into Gunbower Island. Follow the track past the Twin Bridges Recreation Site and continue until you reach the start of the Canoe Trail on Gunbower Creek (site is signposted) The starting point of the Canoe Trail, this site offers plenty for visitors to Gunbower Island to enjoy.
