From Orbost take the Buchan–Orbost Road for approximately 20km before turning into the Sandy Point Track, proceed down the track until you reach the Mighty Snowy. A tidy campground with limited infrastructure, ideal for small groups or families This is a beautiful section of the Snowy River to roll out a swag on the grassy flat and is ideal for launching a kayak adventure south down the river.
