Take Gap Road south from Kingower, follow through the forest for 4.9 kms, turn right onto Orchid Dam Road, the site will be on your right (GPS 0746916 5940273) Come stay for a few days and explore the surrounding box ironbark and mallee forests. Forests around Inglewood have a rich cultural history and unique flora and fauna species. This region has produced more gold nuggets than any other Australian goldfield and was also a major source of eucalyptus oil. There are picnic tables and a wood BBQ.
